Kevin and I have just completed work on our latest collaboration for the
Star Trek Communicator Magazine. It's an article examining the various "alternate reality" stories
Trek has thrown at us over the years, complete with interviews and quotes from writers from the various series. Look for it in issue #154, due out in late January.
And hey, whaddaya know? The Bucs continue their rollercoaster-like assault on my nerves with another win, this time pummeling the 49ers 35-3. So what if the Niners couldn't beat a squad of blind Girl Scouts this year? A win is a win is a win. It ain't over just yet, baby (though I saw that somebody let the fat lady backstage).
With a 3-6 record, sitting in third place in the NFC South and four games behind Atlanta with 7 games to go, that sound you're hearing is another nail being driven into the coffin containing the Bucs' post-season hopes.
Chiefs lost to another inferior team, so at least I can snicker at my co-workers on Monday.
My boyz defended the home turf against the Chiefs, who were actually starting to play some good football. I didn't expect it to be a shoot-out, but it was good to see the Bucs finding the end zone over and over and over again. There's still a ray of hope as we hit the halfway mark! I can now go to work on Monday and gloat to all my luckless co-workers/Chiefs fans.
