That was fun!

Kevin and I spent Sunday afternoon at the Paola Free Library as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. Kevin's the one with ties to the town, as he spent fifteen years there working for the local paper. Area author Linda Madl, also in attendance, grew up and went to school there.

But me? I heard they were offering free cookies and punch.

In all seriousness, I had a great time. Meeting Linda and fellow area writer Lee Biggs was fun, and everyone who attended the author talks was very warm and welcoming toward all of us. It was a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Next stop? DENVER!
